LLC Forest Certification registers possible conflicts of interests and measures taken to eliminate or avoid such possible conflicts.

Conflicts of interests may arise, for instance, during audits of forestry enterprises in case when the auditor provided information services to such enterprise or is interested in its successful financial activity.

To avoid such situations, during the audit planning all experts of the company shall sign additional agreements to expert service agreements where they guarantee that they are not related to the audited entity and are not interested in the results of its activity. Such examination is conducted by the company director.

Besides, the company's management system with respect to all certification activities excludes the possibility of fulfillment of the same functions by the same experts (participation in audits, review of reports, adoption of certification decisions).

If, during the preparation or in the course of the evaluation a possible conflict of interests is identified and relevant actions are taken, the information about these facts shall be published in this chapter.
